VOLUNTEERING:

The NFDIS are reliant upon support from
Volunteers in many areas of its work.

 Tasks such as:

administration, filing, photocopying
computer data entry
home visit escorts
scribes, writing letters etc
brochure distribution, handling mail outs
Village Link, people in their own community
making others aware of the Service
telephone & reception duties
providing information & advice
fundraising & promotion
table sales & support at fetes

Full Induction with
Confidentiality, Equal Opportunities and
Health & Safety training is given with
appropriate training for each task, 
before the task is undertaken.
 

Volunteer's approved travelling expenses
are reimbursed.

All staff & volunteers have
CRB Enhanced Disclosures.
